1- Candidate Selection Criteria:
- Must have at least a bachelors university degree in Finance and Accounting.
- 5 years management experience.
- 5 years’ experience in an accounting/finance role
- Proficiency in English and Arabic languages
- Professional and Presentable Appearance
2- As the financial manager, your role will include:
- Managing and Co-ordinating the day-to-day accounting and financial/banking requirements of the business and ensuring compliance with policy and procedural controls
- Ensuring the month end closing and production of management reports including – Cash Flow, Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Statements
- Working with other company departments to prepare budgets, forecasts and performance evaluation
- Developing better accounting practices and procedures and continually advance them ensuring ongoing improvements in efficiency, accuracy and sustainability
- Ensuring all accounts are reconciled and discrepancies are rectified in a timely manner
- Processing payroll and maintain employee files
- Approving procurement requisitions;
- Assisting in implementing the finance module of Odoo ERP
- Managing a small but growing team.
Skills and Experience:
- You will be an accredited accountant with extensive experience in a financial role as well as at least 5 years management experience
- You will have knowledge of the local taxation requirements and processes for posting tax statements
- You will have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in the English and Arabic languages
- You will have experience working with ERP or accounting systems (such as Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, Netsuite etc.)
- Though, not essential, you will greatly benefit in this position if you have knowledge of international banking instruments and financing, including knowledge of: Letters of Credit, Performance Bonds, International Money Transfers etc.
- Though, not essential, you will greatly benefit in this position if you’ve had experience in mining or oil and gas industries.
