Job Summary

Responsible for providing financial advice on future investing, savings, medical, cargo and facilities insurance protection. The Sr. Insurance Officer will generate leads, meet with vendors, complete a financial needs analysis, and present them with customized financial proposals and should offer specialized guidance and advice on areas of concern and empower staff/company to live better lives.

Technical Competencies

Good verbal and written communication skills.
Regulatory audit exposure.
Understanding of local and foreign rules and regulations and norms.

Behavioral Competencies

  • Multitasking.
  • Ability to handle heavy workload

Minimum Requirements:

Educational background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or similar from a reputed university.

Technical Skills and Prior Experience

  • At least 7 years of experience in Insurance of which (2-3) years are in supervisory roles.

2- Sr. Internal Auditor

Job Title: Sr. Internal Auditor
Department: Operations
Section: Internal Audit
Direct Manager: Internal Audit Manager
Job Location: Khartoum

Job Summary

Is responsible for taking over the management and oversight of auditing projects for our team. In this role, jobholder will be tasked with ensuring the efficient completion of accurate audits, managing a team of junior auditors, and maintaining levels of auditing quality and financial accuracy for the company.

Competencies Required

Technical Competencies

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of auditing best practices, such as GAAP and internal control measures.
  • An in-depth understanding of tax, business compliance, and financial regulations.
  • Knowledge of project and team management principles/ Significant project management and auditing experience, and be comfortable leading auditing projects of various sizes.

Behavioral Competencies

  • Multitasking.
  • Ability to handle heavy workload
  • An eye for detail and the ability to analyze large volumes of data.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities.

Minimum Requirements:

Educational background

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or commerce.
  • CPA certification and an active license to work as an accountant.

Technical Skills and Prior Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience as an auditor, with a working knowledge of different accounting software with extensive experience in auditing procedures and be confident in delegating tasks to other members of the team.
